This second collection of early recordings by Acker Bilk sees him playing with a pick-up group, Johnny Bastable's Chosen Seven, recorded for the 77 Records label in 1958. The second disc comprises Acker's first recordings with the Paramount Jazz Band for the major Pye label and is a complete collection from 1958/59. These have been carefully remastered. Also included are 6 previously unissued tracks.
