A double CD for the price of one of recordings made by Acker with various groups for the 77 label in 1957. Good stomping traditional jazz played by young men on a mission. It highlights the fiery trumpet playing of Bob Wallis. The groups include the Paramount Jazz Band, The Storyville Jazzmen, Hugh Rainey’s All Stars and John Bastable’s Chosen Six.
